DL1961 is a family-owned brand that has been creating premium denim with sustainability at their core since 2008. Overseeing the entire process from fiber to finished garment, the brand prides themselves on their leading fabric and sustainability technologies.

DL1961 takes old jeans and plastic bottles and turns them into high performance denim. They use Dystar liquid indigo pigments to minimise harmful byproducts and the jeans are constructed using waterless laser and Ozone technologies which are fully compliant with International Social and Environmental Quality Standards.

With sustainability at their core, DL1961 denim takes 10 gallons of water to produce compared to the usual 1500 gallons of water that jeans often take to produce.
